Sporadic Rant:
Another new friend gets introduced today. This time it's Tom Kandris. Tom and his buddies live pretty close by, and their house can only be described as Gamers' Heaven. The inhabitants of the house and the various and sundry people who appear on a semi-permanent basis are familiar with all aspects of most games, whether they be computer or tabletop. It's a cool place to stop by once a week or so to see what's going on in the gaming world.
Today's comic is what I'd call a "Garfield comic." It's frivolous and non-offensive, but ultimately kind of lame. It's good for a quick chuckle but will be just as quickly forgotten in the annals of time. I figured it'd be better to get something up, though, instead of yesterday's comic all over again. Tomorrow's comic will be sure to offend someone, I promise.
I'm reaching a strange crossroads with the comic right now. I enjoy doing it, but it does take up an hour or so everyday, and there aren't really any tangible benefits from doing it. I'm at the point where I either need to ease back from it or decide that this is something I want to seriously pursue. I'll keep you posted as the situation further develops. I will definitely continue doing it, though, if HotZP makes a resurgent reappearance and asserts its web presence, as it's threatening to do right now. The old HotZP guys are seriously considering hunkering down and tackling a regular publication schedule. That would kick unruly amounts of ass. I'll be sure to plug the site again and again as needed, too, if it ever happens. We'll just have to wait and see.
The BBoCS Store is up and running, so stop by if you want a getHead() T-shirt or a Bad Girls of Computer Science mouse pad. Prices have been slashed pretty thoroughly in order to get the items moving. I'm not trying to make much of a profit, I just want to see those things out there and being worn/used. :) Mugs will be available during the next day or two as well. Also, don't hesitate to drop a line in the forum.
