Sporadic Rant:
I felt bad about rushing yesterday's comic, so I spent a little more time and effort on this one; and I think the results are clearly superior. Whenever I do a storyboard or rough draft of the comic, the final product always turns out a lot better and the characters look more consistent. A lot of people wrote in about yesterday's strip, though. It seems as if we have a large number of PPG fans out there. Alert reader Sean Copeland (I feel like Dave Barry here) even sent in the following URL for perusal: It's an interview with Craig McCracken by the fine folks at The Onion. As the features rotate pretty quickly, it may not be in that same location a week or two from now.
As a side note, Robin always makes up these really weird names to call people. Since she's such a sweet gal, she won't stoop to the level of profanity-laden insults that we guys usually hurl around at each other. As a result, strange terms like "Mr. Touchypants" arise. She won't even say anything remotely dirty about the last phrase in that last sentence, either.
A new episode of the anime epic goes up tomorrow, and I'm fairly optimistic about getting the third one done for Monday. Sunday will feature a guest strip I did for Sit and Spin and I believe the Porn Break T-shirts should be ready at that time as well.
There's some major HotZP-related news, too. Six of the old crew (me included) are springing for a new server, one that will be dedicated to HotZP and HotZP alone (BBoCS will come along for the ride). I'll probably take a much more active role in developing the site and will start looking for talented people to submit material, so all you freelance writers and artists can start getting ready for the relaunching of the site. BBoCS already made one move already, as our host Summersault just moved to a new machine today, which is why all our counters have reset. :/
