Contest time! Check out this link for more details. Deadline: Sept. 21, 2000. I've gotten a handful of entries so far, but I know there are more of you out there. Let's see a few more entries! Also, the call for fan art has gone out, so mail me those fabulous renditions of the BBoCS characters.
Ho hum. Another day, another comic. I haven't done any drawing for awhile because I got ahead last week, but today is the last of the comics I had in reserve so I expect I'll actually have to do some real cartooning sometime in the near future. Expect something weird and experimental on Friday, something a little bit closer to Bob the Angry Flower than a normal BBoCS comic. I've been wondering lately where the comic is going and what its final destination will be. I definitely plan on retiring it when I graduate, but I don't want to get out of the online comics world completely. One semi-decent plan that's appealed to me is to retire the strip when I graduate (next May), and then resume whatever story from the anime epic remains in comic book (not strip) form. It's just an idea at the moment, we'll see how I feel about that next year.
I had a lot more stuff I wanted to say, but Matt asked me to fill in for him at work tonight, so I have to cut it short. There'll likely be a mammoth news post on Friday then.
