Went to the health center on campus yesterday, and the nurse told me I had "a touch of the flu." I almost gave her a touch of "foot up the ass." I get grumpy when I'm sick. Just ask Su Hoay. Fortunately, the flu seems to be running its course, and I was able to make it through an entire day without trying to break the world record for projectile vomit distance.
Just a bit of eye candy today, this is a weird futuristic interpretation of Margaret from College Roomies from Hell!!!. It's going to be used for a mural-ish fan art compilation project, so that's why I went ahead and funkified (actual artistic term) it in Photoshop. The original non-altered image is here. I also did a new Transformers-related pic for Funny Farm, which is here. Robin took out some of her own time to do a very special BONUS COMIC (Yay!). It's quite droll, especially Andy's last line which I won't spoil for you here. I predict no dearth of stick figure bonus comics in the future, what with everyone clamoring to produce them.
Big thanks to Tycho (Jerry Holkins) of Penny Arcade for ever so graciously linking the comic. Thanks to all the great PA fans, too, who sent me some very positive e-mail messages. If Tycho ran for president, I'd vote for him. I sent him an e-mail thanking him for the link, but he replied, "You're the one with the good comic, man. Thank yourself. :)" He is truly a giant among men. Mark Shallows of Adventurers! once said something very funny and apt about Tycho. I can't remember the exact wording, so I'm paraphrasing here, but it went along these lines: If someone stepped on Tycho's head, the next day you'd see a news post that read "This guy stepped on my head earlier today. Here's his homepage."
I was going to wait to update the site design, but I went ahead and threw it up (*rimshot*) due to the link from PA. I'll be adding a new fan art page soon and re-vamping the Cast page. Mostly everyone seems to like the new look; it's certainly better than the old ghetto text interface. ;) There'll be a few new additions to the site soon, as the forums will be changed to UBB.
I just placed my order for the collector's edition of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. And that's all the news fit to ignore and belittle.
