Got over a nice little scare over the weekend. I went to the health center again, this time convinced I had come down with mono. I was sleeping something like 12 hours a day, and the simple act of drawing today's cartoon left my muscles weary and sore. The good news: I don't have mono. The bad news: I have a viral infection. It's better than mono, but it's worse than the simple flu I thought I had. I'll probably be grumbling about this for at least another week, so please bear with me.
Today's comic might feature some characters not customarily seen in this comic. I'm not big on drawing cameos, but after seeing today's College Roomies from Hell!!!, I felt compelled to respond. It's no secret that I'm totally absorbed by CRFH right now, especially after getting completely hooked by the latest storyline. I had already drawn and inked this comic before I had seen the aforementioned CRFH strip, but I was still able to manipulate the drawing enough to create reasonable facsimiles of Marsha and April. I can only hope Mrs. Campos or the CRFH fans (whose number are legion) don't take too much offense with the liberty I've taken with said characters.
The comic I was originally going to run today will be seen Wednesday, not that that's any big deal. The expansion pack for The Sims is out, but I don't know if it's in time to re-ignite my passion for the game. Right now, I'm going to be a good little boy and patiently wait for my copy of Baldur's Gate II to arrive.
Before I split, here's a piece of fanart I did for Poe of Exploitation Now. Also, the Cast page is brand spankin' new and actually looks nice for a change. There's a Fan Art page there as well, though it's woefully barren (hint hint).
