Important Note: Almost all of my stuff is in the new apartment, so this'll may be the last update for the year. (Have I been doing this for 10 months already? Sheesh.) I'll try to slap a new comic up tomorrow, but if it doesn't appear, just hold tight until January 3rd. My fancy new Road Runner cable modem will be installed on the afternoon of the 2nd, so I'll be able to bring you new updates at blazing speeds. Don't forget to scope out the new downloads, too (2 new Kare Kano episodes and 2 songs).
This was the comic that was supposed to go up on Christmas day but the campus server went down over the weekend and there wasn't anyone around who could fix it until late Tuesday. I didn't discover that it was back up until Wednesday, hence the update today. If you're really curious, Andy's original comment was, "Nice outfit. Did your Mommy make that for you?" Maybe that's funnier, I don't know. This is one of the few times I've resorted to a physical gag in the last panel, but I think it worked out in this case. It's really very hard to pull off because you have to convey something humorous through art alone, but the "'Christmas Spirit,' my ass!" addition is supposed to make you chuckle if nothing else does.
I won't be around for the turn of the millenium (the real one), so don't get too drunk and so forth when it comes. :) I'm horribly behind on my e-mail but I hope you understand. I won't really get a chance to answer it until the 3rd, so just sit tight for a few days and wait for BBoCS to come back from the dead.
