"I Suck"

So I have a new cable modem. You might have noticed with the fresh new update. :) Sorry about not putting it up yesterday, but Roadrunner did something I wasn't quite expecting, namely no free temporary IPs. I purchased just the singular IP for the new apartment that got switched on Tuesday, but the new model of cable modem they're using monitors usage and won't give you more than one IP unless you put it through a router or server. Since I don't have enough money to spring for a router yet, I had to order another IP for my Mac (upon which most of the BBoCS stuff is stored). Also, by the time I started to think about updating, Matt had come over and Andy and I started conversing over the share version of Game Voice. It was a pretty silly event overall, but I think Game Voice has a lot of potential. Probably not enough potential to make me go out and buy the Microsoft Game Voice Sidewinder product, but definitely enough to play around with the share version for a little bit.

After Matt came over, we logged onto the BBoCS server (IP: 24.93.6.24) and proceeded to play very very badly. Actually, Matt was okay; but he's been keeping his hand in UT while I've been busy with Sacrifice and Giants: Citizen Kabuto. I've gotten so good at multiplayer Sacrifice that most people just drop out after the initial skirmish. Unfortunately, while I was performing masterly in Sacrifice, my UT skills were rapidly deteriorating. They had atrophied to the point where I was having difficulty circle strafing. I won't go so far as to say I sucked, but I once got caught in the backseat of a car with Hugh Grant.

New comic tomorrow and more BBRO on Sunday. Boo-yah.
