"Class Dismissed"

Important Note: I've received a few e-mail and forum posts about this, so I'm going to officially ask for volunteers to provide space and bandwidth for the purpose of hosting Love Hina and whatever other little downloadable goodies I decide to put up (mp3s, ROMs). What I need is an e-mail from you, what ISP you're using, what speed your connection is, how much free space you have, and whether you'll be able to set up an FTP account or not. You'll receive proper credit, of course, and everyone's eternal gratitude.

Leftover link of the day: Sunday Morning Coffee by Tang and Clay. Not everyone gets to be found drunk and naked outside an attractive lesbian's apartment. But in my defense, I wasn't really all that drunk. This is all because I never drew nipples, right?

Not much to talk about. I have some funny Black and White stories to tell, but I think I'll post them in the forum later. Word on the street is that there'll be a patch for the game soon, so hopefully you can complete the game without worrying about having an eternally cursed Titan. I also did a comic yesterday but it didn't get much "air time," so to speak.

My mad crusade to unlock all the secrets in Capcom vs. SNK continues. I recently acquired Orochi Iori, so the largest stumbling block on the way to Nakoruru has been taken care of. I already have Morrigan, so Akuma will soon be mine! I'm a bit upset about their intepretation of Ex Terry, though. He's got the magnificent Power Dunk from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, but he doesn't have the F, F + P (x3) charge move he had there; and get this, they totally nerfed his Power Wave. It's this little baby Power Geyser that is only vaguely good as anti-air, you can't even really 2-in-1 into it that well. I know the Power Dunk is one of the best moves in the game, but you can't take away a man's Power Wave! Talk about emasculation. And you're just as big a fighting game fanatic as I am if you understood all that gibberish. Finally, I hate to be the bearer of bad news as this news item was one day too late to be an April Fool's joke.

I was lucky enough to get into the Stress Test, so I took a shot and signed up for Blizzard's Diablo II expansion pack beta test as well.

What the Hell, I'll share one Black and White story with you as the parting shot for today. On Land 1, you get a couple of beach balls you can use to play around with your creature. I placed them both in his pen, so he could feel more at home there. Now I had gotten him to be "highly compassionate" but it came at the price that he was not very playful. He would pick people up and pet them before setting them down again, but he didn't really play around with the townsfolk or long to be played with by me. I let him wander off on his own for the most part after I had developed his benevolent personality, and I noticed he kept hanging around the children's creche. My constant mantra was "don't eat the kids, don't eat the kids," and thankfully it never came up. Now after he was hanging out with the children for awhile, he ran back to the temple to pick up one of the beach balls. He eagerly raced back to the creche, and I was thinking, "Cool, he's going to play 'Catch' with the kids!" I'm sure that's what was on his mind, except he had forgotten that he was a behemoth compared to them. As he approached the creche, he tossed the beach ball at the children; but I guess he had also forgotten his own strength. I had him do a bit of weight training, so his strength was at 62. Instead of lightly tossing the beach ball, he threw a wicked fastball that caved in the ceiling of the creche with a sickening "CRUNCH." I guess maybe I ought to encourage his playful side a bit more often so accidents like that don't occur so frequently. Maybe this isn't that funny, but man did it have me rolling in my seat at the time.

Late Addition: My leopard learned how to breakdance! Boo-yah! He can bust a phat groove, j0.

Also, as Final Fantasy X and Metal Gear Solid 2 approach, it's looking more and more likely that I'll have to snag myself a Playstation 2 one of these days.

Everyone in the BBoCS Forum is secretly an Asian guy named "Tony."
