File Hosting Update: Thanks to everyone who volunteered space and bandwidth, but it looks like there's a good chance we'll be able to resolve the issue internally thanks to my good pal Chris. I'll keep you posted.
Yesterday's Leftovers: Two comic links to hand out today, both strong contenders for The Sexiest Webcomic Ever. Meaghan Quinn of Eat the Roses and Jess Idres of Yin and Yang have a friendly competition going as to who has the sexier webcomic. I'll leave it to your discretion as to whom to pick, but I strongly encourage you to visit both comics and give them your full sexy appraisal. To further reinforce their respective sexiness, the creators have come forward and presented themselves as sexy authors. Don't believe me? Here's the proof: Megs and Jess. As is said at MegaTokyo, "ph33r the cute ones."
Jess of Yin and Yang was so good as to send me a piece of fan art which you can view here. Be a good chap and check out her comic, if you haven't yet. In accordance with the all the new mentions/cameos/fan art, I've updated the fan art section. I've also decided to open up an awards page, as I now have enough to put there without it looking barren and embarrassing. I haven't designed the page yet, but you can take a look at the awards in this directory. The impetus that spurred me towards establishing such a section of the page was receiving Damonk's highly coveted KickA** Site of the Month award. The actual presenter of the award this month was Scrubbo (who does the wacky Silly Cone V of The Four Toon Tellers fame). Thanks, Scrubbo! :)
If you weren't aware of this fact, a metric ton of traffic hit the site yesterday. Apparently, the secret to getting over 150,000 pageviews in a single day is to get links from both Penny Arcade and MegaTokyo. I've lavished heaps of praise upon Tycho and Largo to no end, so I won't bother to repeat it all here. Just know that I revere these two individuals as my heroes. ;)
Also, if you're looking to contact me through IRC, the best bet is trying #4toontellers on the irc.nightstar.net server. All the cool kids from #webcomics hang out there now, and I succumbed to all that peer pressure. Also, I can usually be found lurking in #avalon as well -- the channel for Josh Phillip's Avalon, natch. Our own Nekadraiel runs the #bbocs and #idlebanter channels on irc.enterthegame.com and those are great places to meet your fellow BBoCS readers.
Play some fun board (bored?) games in the BBoCS Forum.
