Okay, here we go with a brand new week and brand new strips (with the same old jokes, unfortunately, as this comic's budget only stretches so far)! In case you missed it over the weekend, I updated on Saturday in order to make up for the missed Thursday. The site went down due to a Sprint outage throughout all of Indiana (where the server is located) before I was able to type up a news post and stayed down through a considerable portion of Sunday as well.
One event I really wanted to announce in the post was the birthday of our very own Kristen Zborowski (that's Kris-Chan to you folks). Kris is one of my favorite fans and readers not because she donated money when she was low on it herself (she did), nor because she was one of my "old school" batch of fans (she was), nor even because she's an active forum participant (she is); it's because she's one of the fans I'm also happy and proud to be able to call a friend. Kris invited me down to her birthday party this past weekend, but I was just getting over illness and already had plans to spend Sunday morning with my Dad for Father's Day. I wasn't able to attend her birthday celebration, but this news post is my own personal way of commemorating the event. Happy birthday, Kris!
In other news, I'll be going on vacation starting this Wednesday until the following Thursday. Don't worry, though, as new comics will continue to appear in my absence. I'll let you know more details tomorrow.
